July 15 - Lima Life

How´s it cooking? This week has been a good one! We´ve been working hard here in Casablanca - I´m slowly realizing that I don´t know english anymore haha because a member asked us this week to help him study for his english course in university and I was getting some of the questions wrong haha I was like i´m going to have to get used to speaking english again.

This week we have kept meeting with Diana and her son James - they are doing great and came to church again on Sunday - in the early morning. We also got a chance to help out in a stake mutual activity on saturday where all the young men and young women came and heard from President Packard and his wife. We were asked to sing ´´army of Helaman´´ to the youth as a part of the activity. It was great to help the youth out a little bit more to get ready for their missions.

This week really I´ve had a chance to think about why I do what I do as a missionary. I love being here in Peru and really it saddens me thinking of leaving it. All we do here is dedicated to helping other people and is really about serving God. That´s where the joy of things come in - helping other people.
