Lima Love

Reflecting a little on this week I feel very grateful, one thing that did happen this week is that we met Karina who is the sister of a returned missionary who is less-active. She is 20 years old and has a 1 year old son. She has been taught by many missionaries before and knows a lot about the gospel andthe church. She reads Preach my Gospel every morning with her brother. Going to her house we got a chance to see where she wants to go in life and we invited her to read the book of Mormon and really pray about it. We both bore our testimonies about how we had received answers from the Holy Ghost and we could both feel the Spirit in the lesson. The lesson ended and she told us that we are the missionaries who have gotten further that any other companionship. She told us that she wanted to be baptized. That was really cool to see the way the Spirit testified to her about the truthfullness of the Book of Mormon.

This week was also Elder Powell´s last week, he goes home today and tomorrow I will receive a new companion. Don´t know who it is yet but we´ll find out tonight. But on friday Elder Powell had to go and do self-reliance training,so I stayed with Elder Calhoon, my MTC companion and we went to the stake centre to have our last interviews with President Godfrey (because heis also going home) that was a little weird but I was able to talk with President Godfrey about some of the goals I would like to achieve and receive some awesome advice from him. I feel a lot more prepared to face the future.

I know the Gospel is true! That has been the basis of every action I have taken in the past two years. It is really the only road that leads to lasting happiness. I know that with all my heart.

I love you guys!!!

A gift I got from my son Elder Chuqui and some selfies

Isaac (with the pink tie) went to the MTC today, he´s going to the mexico Hermosillo mission. Jhangel, (Gianhell) (Blue tie) is preparing to serve a mission. The dude with the beard is a member´s dad who is not a member. We totally accidentally ran into his birthday party and he invited us to take a photo with him.
