Lima Legacy

Hola family!

Hey guys! This week I got a new companion, but the funny part is I already know him because we`ve shared a ward for 3 months. He is Elder Monteiro from Brazil! What happened is that there were 2 areas in our ward (casablanca) I was in casablanca 1 and he was in casablanca 2. But now our companions went home so now we`re together haha! Now we have the whole area to ourselves!

Elder Powell left on Monday and now we`re going full in on our area! We having be working this week with Karina who I talked about last week - she wants to get baptized! If everything goes well it should be this Saturday. We`re also looking forward to the baptism of Andy, Alexndra and Carmen this Saturday! We will be working with them a lot more this week.

One thing I love about the mission is that it always helps bring a new perspective to things. As I read more constantly the scriptures and strive to constantly share them. I really gain a new perspective on things and am constantly trying to improve and change, as we all are. I do know that the constant, the thing we should always have with us as we strive to change is the gospel of Jesus Christ. It`s like a compass that guides and brings direction to people`s lives. I love seeing that effect in the lives of other people, and in mine. I know the gospel is true.

Apart from that not much going on, we`ve done a lot of service projects this week, as well President Packard, the new mission president, should be arriving this week. So we`ll be getting to know him better this week.

I love you guys!!!
