LimaAAAAAH

This week we have been back to work going hard at it. Elder Powell is a great guy and we get along really well. It´s his birthday today as well - he turns 20. I´m getting used to having an anglophone companion now. The better part of the day we speak Spanish together but we always joke together in English. We still get the reaction of a few members and no members that are like ´´two gringos?´´ and plus the fact that we´re walking around in the hills makes it more fun.

This week we had zone conference with President and Sister Godfrey. A really nice spiritual experience, what we did different this time in zone conference is that usually President Godfrey does most of the talking with some talking from the assistants and Sister Godfrey and the zone leaders. But this zone conference instead of that President assigned various companionships who are having success in their area to give brief trainings on how they are having success. That was really cool and it was really awesome to learn from every one of these companionships.

Our ward is great, there are some awesome members here. The interesting part is that our area is basically one giant hill, ïll try to take some photos but it basically means there is no part of our area that is flat. It is all uphill or downhill. We have one investigator that to get to their house we literally have to go up a long street that is at a 45 degree angle. I don´t know how cars get up there but they do. The good part is that there are some good members in our ward. Especially the YSA, there are like 4 or 5 YSA aged young men who are preparing to serve missions so we are going proselyting with them 3-5 times a week. Sometimes we do divisions as well.

Anyways we are trucking along with a couple people this week, unfortuntely a lot of them didn´t come to church this week for various reasons. But we did start teaching a guy named Wilber this week - he is a funny dude. As we taught him in his house his family was coming into the house. As they were coming in he would invite every single one of them to church. He also calls us ´´the leaders´´ haha we explained to him that we´re not the leaders of the church but he still calls us that. We are going to keep teaching him this week.
