Hey Familia!

This week has been a little bit of chaos - to start off the week - I had emergency tranfers. Monday I was with Elder Chavez and we climbed up a hill which was pretty cool. And on monday I got a call that I need to pack up my bags and go to another area. I´m now in an area that is called Los Angeles. (Awesome right, I´m in LA) and my new companion is Elder Espejo (which is mirror in english). He´s from Buenos Aires Argentina - my second Argentine companion and my thirteenth companion. Loco. He´s a great dude as I arrived at the area on tuesday we went and got right to work. That first day we contacted a dude named Duberly - great guy he accepted us rught away and we walked with him to his house. He is from the Peruvian jungle and has been here studying for four months. He is a pretty laid back and simple dude doesn´t have a lot of worries but is really open. He read the Book of Mormon and in spite of not understanding much told us that he prayed and felt compelled to keep reading. Amazing.

Also this week we had a cool experience getting to know a few more people from the new area - including a Mom and her child. She´s the sister of an active member and the missionaries have been teaching her since last week before I came. She is cool they are all from Huancavelica a province of Peru. She is really receptive and a great part is that she´s also married! Right now my area is mostly hills so in the hills it´s a lot harder to find people that are married. But this week she came to church along with her family. In Sunday school the teacher was involving a bit more the people including she asked for examples of people in the scriptures that looked, searched and found. And our investigator raised her hand to say ´´Joseph Smith searched and God answered his prayer and told him to restore the true church´´ I was honestly surprised. Two days ago we had recently taught her about it!

There´s so many things I love about Peru and it´s a little hard to believe I only have a few months left to be here. One thing that´s a little weird is in this area is that we are going to church in the same chapel I went to for four months when I was in Torreblanca - it´s the three story building a ´´casa capilla´´ they call it. So I see all the same member and some of the converts from my old area on Sunday. A little weird but super awesome.

Anyways, I am excited moving forward. I know without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the kingdom of God on the earth. I have a Heavenly Father that loves me enough to have sent his son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. I am so grateful to be able to share that with other people. Whatever the problem, Jesus Christ has felt it, he has felt every sorrow, pain, weakness that I have felt. He is my Saviour.
