Hola Familia!

Thanks for the things you guys wrote, I am feeling a lot better that even though at times I might not be sure exactly what I´m doing I can rely on the Lord, my companion and my mission leaders and work even harder than I have before to really be able to help my zone.

I´m glad you guys had a good week! So cool that you are alwasy seeing new Canadian cities mama. Hrere our week was a little bit of a tougher one. But still full of lots of good things. This week definitely showed me the value of hard work. But something that Coleman told me before my mission was that working hard involves also working with faith. Everyday we visit member, investigators, and contact people in the streets. But if we don´t have the faith and the expectation that this is what they need. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ is the solution to whatever problem they may have. If we don´t believe that it is hard to help people out. But I know it´s true. I know the gospel is the soultion to whatever problem people may have.

This week we met Segundo (not primero) who is 72 years old. He told us that he has been living with depression for a while and is living here while he undergoes treatment for pain he has in his lower back in a nearby hospital. We had the chance to really talk with him and highlight the plan of Salvation and give him a priesthood blessing. He is having a hard time changing and seems to be facing a lot of negativity in his life. But he came to church on Sunday and I hope that little by little he will start to see the chance that the gospel brings.

We also had a chance this week to meet with Kevin - a friend of one of the future missionaries in our ward. He is 18 and is full in that university life right now - quick side note in Peru there are only 11 grades so most people graduate high school at 16 years old and are in a university at 16-17 - but Kevin is super cool. He has a few friends who are members of the church and to our surprise in our appointment with him he pulled a Book of Mormon out of his backpack. He wants to find a little more direction in his life and because of the influence of his friends was guided here. He also came to church on Sunday and said he enjoyed it.

Apart from that we had interviews with President Godfrey this week, he is a really great man and helped us out a ton. I also got a chance to do a companionship excahgen this week with Elder Cayuqueo from Argentina - he is a super happy guy and it was a blast to work with him.

Anyways, I love you guys a lot! I´m ready to work hard this week!
