2 Months Done! (My countdown, not his)

Hola Familia!

Mama to answer your question we have lunch with members most days, it´s like the appointments for dinner but for lunch. It usually consists of rice and potatoes in various forms and some type of meat - usually chicken. My companion has been teaching me dishes but there are so many it´s easy to forget. I also saw a sign in a restaurant that was advertising ´´picante de cuy´´ which is guinea pig! It looks really nasty but no one has provided it yet so phew. In the morning we usually have some fruit or cereal and in the evening we usually have appointments with members or investigators and a lot of the time we will share a message and then they will ask us to stay so they can give us food before we leave, so we are well provided for. The members here are super nice.

Our place, according to my companion, is one of the nicest in the mission. I forgot to bring my cord to attach photos this week but I´ll take some for next week! It has a bedroom and a study room and a really nice bathroom.

I also met that missionary that served with Coleman in his mission, his name is Dulio and he said that Coleman was the coolest and helped him with the English accents a lot.

We had an investigator come for a chapel tour this week, she brought her Mom along too, I got the chance to explain about the sacrament (or the Santa Cena in Español) and the words came in Spanish. The investigator, her name is Deisy and her Mom stayed to hear the message of the Restoration. I was feeling the Spirit, and they said only positive things the whole lesson. She came to church on Sunday as well! It was awesome because the Gospel Principles lesson was on the preexistence and the Plan of Salvation. We´re planning to see her again this week to teach her the Plan of Salvation.

Yo se que este Evangelio es verdadero, yo se con todo mi corazon que el Libro de Mormon es aqui para guiar nos a la presencia de nuestro Padre Celestial. Yo estoy muy agradecido a servir la gente de Perú.

Love you guys!

Another missionary sent me this picture from the temple -- notice I'm the tallest!
