Second Email -- Time is Moving Slow for Me (not him)

Hola Familia!

For Mom thanks for the letter! I didn't know that was a thing! (I used this to send him a letter -- I typed it in and they print and deliver!).  It was super cool! I loved what you wrote in it, I was actually reading our Search for Happiness as part of my personal study this week and Elder Ballard said his conversion happened one night while he was walking along the banks of a river in England during his mission. It wasn't huge it was just a quiet confirmation of knowledge.

This week was just as crazy, although it's gone by pretty fast. The cafeteria or the comedor here is huge, and they always have something different each meal. They also have fruit loops which I have definitely partaken of. They sometimes have mexican dishes like chicken asada and stuff like that, and they sometimes have stuff like BLT's or on Tuesday they always have pizza. The bottom line is there's a lot of food to feed a lot of hungry missionaries and it's awesome. Only thing you gotta watch out for is what dishes will make a comeback that night haha. And we always have something to do each day as well, whether its learning Espanol, teaching, eating or listening to a devotional, my district here is awesome we all look to this one missionary Elder Borst who is really good at Spanish for our help in Spanish.

The temple was amazing, the Mexico city temple is huge and just like we have designs of wheat in our temple the Mexico City temple has a bunch of Aztec looking designs. We went through as a district, they gave us headphones to translate to english but I took them off near the end and it was a spiritual experience Im so excited to teach the puebla of Peru in Espanol. We also got a chance to look around the temple grounds and look inside the visitors centre. We're actaully headed back there today with Presidente and Hermana Bennett, the MTC president and his wife.

The language is hard but it's coming slowly. Everyday we teach an "investigator" who is actually our teacher is Spanish. Those lessons are always a good part of the day, it gives me a chance to learn what it will be like to teach to real people and has really shown me the powerful role that the Spirit plays in teaching. We talk a lot about the gift of tongues here, to obtain that spiritual gift I definitely need to trust in the Lord and hold faith in him and in myself.

Yo se que el Evangelio es verdadero, yo soy aqui como represantante de Jesucristo. Mediante el Espiritu Santo todos cosas son posible, Jesucristo es nuestro Salvador y el nos ama con una amor puro. God loves his children and want us to return to him. I know this gospel is true.

I love you guys!
